Can I Use A Jailbroken Iphone 2g In The Philippines Using Globe Prepaid Sim

Im from california, & i have an iphone 2g, jailbroken, and im planning to give it to some1 in the philippines but i dont knoe if its gonna work with globe prepaid sim?pls help.thnks!
