What Is The Verizon Equivalent To The Iphone

My boyfriend wants to get a new phone. What he really wants is an iPhone, but as far as I know the iPhones are exclusive for AT&T (if I'm wrong, please tell me). Anyway. Because of where we will be living, Verizon looks to be the best carrier. Does Verizon support a phone that is equivalent to the iPhone? The main things he's looking for are (obviously) the phone/text capabilities, but also something to serve as an mp3 player and as a digital camera. Thank you for your time and help!
